One must be shocked that proposals of this type are controversial in any way. The foolishness of *cruise ships* is renewing my commitment to opposing unregulated, anti-environmental petit capitalist activity here in Northern California.

There is the parallel yoga notion that the body and mind must be ‘purified’ before we can see what’s really going on in this strange world. When we take this idea into the ‘external’ world, it means we need to keep our environment as ‘pure’ as we would our individual organism. This is to practice what one preaches.
